About Me

I'm a Graphic Designer, Illustrator, and Artist based in Narrawallee, on the South Coast of NSW. I have over 25 years experience in publishing and advertising, primarily in the arts, music, and entertainment industries. I worked on regional newspapers starting out, then for Sydney’s premier street-press publication, "The Drum Media", designing advertisements as well as editorial and layout. I then moved to an advertising agency, Millmaine Entertainment Marketing, where I put together "The Music Network" magazine, as well as designing advertising material, for print, press, and digital media.

I decided to go freelance in 2012 so I had more time for painting, and illustration work, with traditional as well as digital media. I have designed the print, digital, and event artwork (including venue dressing) for the ARIA Awards and The Golden Stave Charity Foundation for many years, have worked with dance company Shaun Parker & Company, and the Seymour Centre, since 2012, as well as clients such as The Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Centre, Ian Moss, Thirsty Merc, Merrigong Theatre Company, and Illawarra Performing Arts Centre to name a few.

I love creating portraits (animal and human) in traditional media, am a keen nature photographer. I now enjoy incorporating my natural environment and nature photography reference images into my Graphic Design work and art practice.

I also create jewellery and accessories using handwoven seed bead techniques. I feel it was a natural progression from dealing with pixels all day on a computer, to then translating images into hand held, tactile objects. I enjoy exploring colours and patterns regardless of the medium.
